PROJECT BRIEF/ The Springtime Expo is the largest one-day show in the meetings industry, held annually at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. More than 3,200 association and meeting professionals gathered to attend three key ASAE events: the Association International Conference, the Springtime Expo, and ASAE Foundation’s Annual Springtime DC Golf & Tennis Invitational. The campaigns each needed to project a forward, fresh, must-attend message.
RESULTS/ Creative and strategic messaging that challenged attendees to find opportunities to make a difference in the global community played a key role in the marketing of this event. The personal calls to action seemed to resonate with target attendees, resulting in more than 700 exhibitors and more than 3,000 meeting and association professionals participating and experiencing the success of Greater Washington’s premier meetings and association industry expo.
